3rd Annual Virginia Beach Sport Fishing Bluewater Classic

August 14-17, 2008 

Thursday August 14th --- Captain’s Meeting and Circle Hook Seminar.

Registration will begin at 6:00pm at Dirty Dicks Crab House at Rudee Inlet and will continue until 7:00pm.  Captain’s meeting will then commence, followed by a brief          discussion by Dr John Graves of VIMS and local fisherman Dr Ken Neill on the    importance of using circle hooks and research tagging programs for both inshore and offshore species.  Party will continue until 10:00pm.

 Friday August 15th --- First day of fishing from 8:00am until 3:00pm.  Weigh scales will be open from 3:00pm until 6:30pm at both Long Bay Pointe Marina and Fisherman’s Wharf Marina.

Deck Party at Fisherman’s Wharf behind Dirty Dick’s will start at 6:00pm and carry on until 9:00pm.  Guests can arrive early to watch the fish being weighed in.

 Saturday August 16th --- Second day of fishing from 8:00am until 3:00pm.  Weigh scales will be open from 3:00pm until 6:30pm at both Long Bay Pointe Marina and Fisherman’s Wharf Marina.

Deck Party at Fisherman’s Wharf behind Dirty Dick’s will start at 6:00 and carry on until 9:00pm.  Guests can arrive early to watch the fish being weighed in.

 Sunday August 17th --- Final day of fishing from 8:00am until 3:00pm.  Weigh scales will be open from 3:00pm until 6:30pm at both Long Bay Pointe Marina and Fisherman’s Wharf  Marina.

Awards Ceremony will start at 7:00pm upstairs at Dirty Dicks Crab House and will continue into the night.  Awards, prizes and drawings of our many sponsor provide   products will take place.
